Through the marvels of modern technology (hey, I can even do email!), you can now listen to the 37days story. Either click on that link or look in the top left column of this blog--see where it says "First Time Here?" -- just click on "Hear the 37days story."
My deepest thanks to my fabulous friends Stu and Janna Zonder from SoulMate Studios here in Asheville who, out of the kindness of their hearts, helped me with this, composed and recorded gorgeous original music for it, and engineered the whole thing.
When hell freezes over, or maybe the day after, I'll learn how to put images with it and make it a visual story as well. For now, my voice. And, just for the record, does anyone ever like how their voice sounds on tape?
See? Even the use of the word "tape" tells you that I. Am. Now. Ancient.

I've learned to say 'recorded books' instead of 'books on tape', though it's been a struggle! I console myself that I am a digital immigrant dwelling among digital natives. I am reasonably educable, but only as far as I am willing, and I seem to have retained a thick accent. At 60 I am choosy about what I wish to learn and what I wish to ask others to do for me because, as natives, they are just so much more fluent.
Pleasant voice, BTW. :-)

Woo hoo! Fun city.
Also, very nicely done.
I'm going to Scotland to think about the questions I'm going to ask you when you swing by on your blog tour. This makes me want to record some of the fabulous voices I will undoubtedly hear there.
