What's this all about?

To entertain myself, I've decided to write book summaries in Haiku of every book that I read, a succinct 17 syllables to capture the sense of the book, relentless in its sparseness. Let's see what holds up under the pressure of Haiku...and what doesn't.

Comments

I notice that all your haiku are 17 syllables - it doesn't have to be, as characters do not translate into single characters. Fewer is fine or one or two over.
