I recognized today that going up stairs is easier for me. That when I can't make my exercise plan, it's okay because tomorrow is Day One. That I'm not doing this for a teacher, an expectation, a size, but only for me--and for my family. That my back is more limber. And that I love my rice cooker.

Yoga & Pilates: Rodney Yee a.m. yoga (15 min)
Gym:
What I planned - 1 hour of cardio and strength training.
What I did - An afternoon meeting that ran long ate into my gym time, so I didn't get there. I didn't have a contingency plan because it was a full day. And tomorrow is a new day.
Food:
Breakfast - Kashi 7-grain nuggets in milk, one banana, one cup of black coffee
Snack - peppermint tea, dates, orange
Lunch - cheese and apple, salad
Dinner - rice and beans, raw sliced fennel with olive oil and lemon juice (Oh, how I love that), celery
My plan for tomorrow: One hour Pilates class + Acupuncture
Fennel!!! I am so happy for your bendy self. Isn't it amazing how the body responds to good care. I currently work out at home only but a pilates class is something that makes my limbs salivate :-)

I remember when I first started yoga... A short time into it, I realized how much further I could twist around when backing out of a parking spot! Yeah for bendiness and strength!
You're looking great, Patti!
